Jean-Jacques Perrey was a French electronic music performer, composer, producer, and promoter. He was known for his pioneering work in pop electronica and was a key figure in the genre. Perrey formed the electronic music duo Perrey and Kingsley with Gershon Kingsley, releasing some of the earliest commercial recordings featuring the Moog synthesizer. He was influential in promoting, performing, and recording with the Ondioline, developed by Georges Jenny, leaving a lasting impact on the industry.
