Jared William Huffman is an American lawyer and politician currently serving as the U.S. Representative for California’s 2nd congressional district since 2013. Before this position, he represented the 6th district in the California State Assembly from 2006 to 2012. While in the Assembly, Huffman led the Water, Parks & Wildlife Committee and the Environmental Caucus. In 2012, he was elected to Congress with a strong majority, representing the North Coast from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Oregon border.
