He gained fame for co-hosting the popular motoring show Top Gear with Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond from 2003 to 2015. Following this, he was part of The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime Video from 2016 to 2024. In addition to motoring programs, May has presented shows on travel, science, technology, toys, wine culture, and modern masculinity. He also wrote a weekly column for The Daily Telegraph’s motoring section from 2003 to 2011.
