Jakub Janda is a Czech politician and former ski jumper who competed from 1996 to 2017. He achieved great success in ski jumping, winning the gold medal in the 2005–06 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup and becoming the 2006 World Champion. Janda also claimed victory in the 2005/06 Four Hills Tournament and earned silver and bronze medals at the 2005 World Championships. He is recognized as one of the most accomplished ski jumpers from the Czech Republic and holds the distinction of being the only Czech World Cup champion to date.
