Tisza was known for his staunch advocacy of the Dual Monarchy and his efforts to find consensus between liberals and conservatives. He supported industrialization, opposed Anti-Semitism, and prioritized economic development. His economic principles included opposition to governmental land redistribution and extending suffrage to soldiers during WWI. Influenced by Bismarck, he followed English economic theories to promote Hungary’s progress.
