Ice-T, a prominent American rapper and actor, rose to fame in the 1980s as an underground rapper. His debut album, “Rhyme Pays,” was released in 1987. In 1988, he established Rhyme $yndicate Records and achieved platinum success with his album “Power.” Ice-T co-founded the heavy metal band Body Count in 1990, gaining notoriety for the track “Cop Killer.” Transitioning to acting, he appeared in films such as “New Jack City” and “Surviving the Game.” Since 2000, Ice-T has portrayed NYPD detective Odafin Tutuola on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and hosted the true crime documentary “In Ice Cold Blood.”
