Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim is a Chadian environmental activist and geographer known for her leadership and advocacy in promoting the rights of Indigenous peoples and addressing environmental challenges. As the Coordinator of the Association of Peul Women and Autochthonous Peoples of Chad (AFPAT), she has been actively involved in initiatives to empower women and Indigenous communities in Chad. She has also played a significant role as the co-director of the pavilion of the World Indigenous Peoples’ Initiative and Pavilion at major climate conferences such as COP21, COP22, and COP23.
