He plays various instruments including the slide guitar, harmonica, banjo, mohan veena, and Ellis stomp box. Manx studied in India with Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, who invented the 20-stringed mohan veena, now Manx’s signature instrument. He has released twelve albums on his record label and received numerous awards, including Maple Blues Awards, Juno nominations, and the Canadian Folk Music Award. He collaborates with musicians like Kevin Breit and Clayton Doley, showcasing his unique musical style.
