Hamish Bond is a retired New Zealand athlete who achieved great success in both rowing and road cycling. He is a three-time Olympic gold medallist, winning in the coxless pair at the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Olympic Games. Bond also secured six consecutive World Rowing Championships gold medals and set world best times in the coxless and coxed pair. After the 2016 Olympics, he transitioned to road cycling, focusing on the time trial, before returning to rowing for the 2020 Olympics and winning gold in the men’s eight.
