Grace Moore, known as the “Tennessee Nightingale,” was an influential American operatic lyric soprano and actress. She rose to fame for her performances in musical theatre, film, and opera, contributing to the popularization of the art form. Moore received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her role in One Night of Love. Sadly, she passed away in a plane crash in 1947. Additionally, she wrote an autobiography titled You’re Only Human Once and inspired a film about her life called So This Is Love in 1953.
