Gilbert Perreault is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre known for his exceptional playmaking abilities. He spent his entire 17-year career with the Buffalo Sabres, leading the team to 11 consecutive playoff appearances. Perreault was a key member of the famous trio “The French Connection” and helped the Sabres reach the 1975 Stanley Cup Finals. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1990 and named one of the ‘100 Greatest NHL Players’ in history in 2017. Perreault holds numerous franchise records and achieved notable career milestones, including a record seven-point game and the team’s first power play goal and hat trick.
