Gigi Fernandez is a former professional tennis player who achieved great success in both singles and doubles competitions. She won 17 major doubles titles and two Olympic gold medals representing the United States. Fernandez also reached the world No. 1 ranking in doubles and a career-high singles ranking of world No. 17. After retiring from the professional tour in 1997, she transitioned into coaching and entrepreneurship, sharing her expertise through clinics and boot camps across the US. Fernandez is recognized as the first Puerto Rican inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
