Gerard Way is a multi-talented American musician, writer, and comic creator. He is known for being the lead vocalist and co-founder of the rock band My Chemical Romance and has also released solo music with his debut album, Hesitant Alien. Way has created popular comics such as The Umbrella Academy, which was adapted into a Netflix series, and The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. Additionally, he is a co-founder of DC Comics’ Young Animal imprint and a co-creator of the Spider-Man character Peni Parker in the Marvel Universe.
