George Patrick Genereux was a Canadian trap shooter and physician. He achieved gold in the Olympic Trap at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland, making him Canada’s youngest Olympic champion at the time. Genereux also received the Lou Marsh Trophy in 1952. He studied medicine at McGill University and had a successful medical career. Genereux was later honored with inductions into various halls of fame, including Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame, the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame, and the Trapshooting Hall of Fame.
