Fran Marshall was a successful squash player from England known for her achievements in the sport during the 1960s and 1970s. She won the British Open in 1961 and was a runner-up multiple times in the following years. Marshall also made history by defeating Heather McKay in the Scottish Open in 1962, being the last woman to do so. She later represented Kenya in tennis at Wimbledon and was part of the Kenyan team at the Women’s World Team Squash Championships in 1981.
