Edward R. Bradley was a versatile American professional who worked in various industries including steel mill labor, gold mining, business, and philanthropy. He was well known in the horse racing industry as an owner and breeder of Thoroughbred racehorses in the Southern United States. Additionally, he was involved in speculative activities such as raising racehorses and gambling. Bradley’s influence was nationally recognized, with appearances on the cover of Time magazine in 1934 and being honored posthumously as one of Florida’s Great Floridians in 2000.
