Ed Ames, also known as Eddie Ames, was a renowned American pop singer and actor famous for portraying Mingo in the TV series Daniel Boone. During the mid-to-late 1960s, he gained prominence with multiple Easy Listening number #1 hits such as “My Cup Runneth Over,” “Time, Time,” and “When the Snow Is on the Roses.” Before launching his solo career, Ed was a member of the well-known 1950s singing group, the Ames Brothers.
