Dylan Armstrong is a Canadian athletics coach and retired shot putter known for his impressive achievements in the sport. He won the Olympic bronze medal in 2008, two World Athletics Championships medals, two Pan American Games titles, and the 2010 Commonwealth Games gold in shot put. Armstrong also holds the Canadian national record for shot put and has previously held records in the Pan American Games and Commonwealth Games. He made history as the first Canadian to medal in a throwing event at a major global competition.
