Dominique Wilkins, a former American professional basketball player, is best known for his tenure with the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA. He achieved nine NBA All-Star selections and was honored as a seven-time member of the All-NBA Team. Considered one of the premier small forwards in NBA history, Wilkins was famous for his spectacular slam dunks, leading to the moniker “the Human Highlight Film”. He topped the NBA in scoring during the 1985-86 season and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006. Wilkins also played for various other teams before retiring in 1999, including winning championships with Panathinaikos in Greece.
