Denis Law CBE, a Scottish former footballer, is renowned for his successful career as a forward. He began at Huddersfield Town before setting transfer fee records at Manchester City and Torino. Law later joined Manchester United in 1962. During his time at United, he scored 237 goals in 404 appearances, placing him third in the club’s history. In 1964, Law received the prestigious Ballon d’Or and played a key role in United’s championship wins. Additionally, he represented Scotland and scored 30 international goals. Law also holds records for most goals in a season and as a part of the “United Trinity.”
