David Duval is a former World No. 1 Golfer and American professional golfer. He had a successful career on the PGA Tour, winning 13 tournaments, including The Open Championship in 2001. Duval turned professional in 1995 after excelling in college and on the Nike Tour. Between 1997 and 2000, he consistently finished in the top-5 on the money list, leading in 1998. However, his career took a downturn following his major win in 2001 due to injuries and medical issues, ultimately leading to the loss of his tour card in 2011. Duval later transitioned to a career as a golf analyst and commentator for Golf Channel and ESPN.
