Daniel Gerard Beauchamp was a Seychellois track and field athlete who represented his country at international level in various disciplines. He set the national record in the long jump before competing in the 1992 Summer Olympics, where he participated in the high jump and long jump events. He continued to excel in the long jump at the 1994 and 1998 Commonwealth Games, as well as winning gold medals at the Indian Ocean Island Games. His athletics career came to an end in 2004 due to a road accident, leaving him paraplegic until his passing in 2010.
