Damon Hill is a British former professional racing driver who won the 1996 Formula One World Championship. He began his racing career in 1981 and later became a test driver for the championship-winning Williams team in 1992. He was a notable rival of Michael Schumacher in the mid-1990s and clinched the championship in 1996. Following his retirement in 1999, Hill has held roles such as president of the British Racing Drivers’ Club and is currently part of the Sky Sports F1 broadcasting support team.
