Daði Freyr Pétursson, also known as Daði Freyr or simply Daði, is an Icelandic musician currently based in Berlin, Germany. He gained global fame as the lead singer of Daði & Gagnamagnið, a music group hailing from Iceland. Daði was originally chosen to represent Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the track “Think About Things,” but the event was unfortunately canceled. He later went on to represent Iceland in Eurovision 2021 with the song “10 Years,” achieving a commendable fourth place. Daði also impressed audiences with a cover performance during the 2023 competition.
