Christopher Vincent Metzen is a renowned American game designer, artist, voice actor, and author recognized for his significant contributions to Blizzard Entertainment’s popular franchises: Warcraft, Diablo, and StarCraft. Starting as an animator and artist at Blizzard, he advanced to the role of Senior Vice President of Story and Franchise Development. Metzen lent his voice to memorable characters such as Thrall and played a pivotal part in character design. Following his retirement in 2016, he returned as a creative advisor and was named executive creative director of Warcraft in 2023. Additionally, he collaborated on graphic novels with other talented creators.
