Chris Kyle was a highly skilled United States Navy SEAL sniper who completed four tours in the Iraq War. He achieved 160 confirmed kills and received numerous commendations for his acts of heroism and meritorious service in combat, including a Silver Star and three Bronze Star Medals with “V” devices for valor. Following an honorable discharge in 2009, he authored the bestselling autobiography “American Sniper,” later adapted into a successful film directed by Clint Eastwood. Kyle tragically passed away in 2013, a victim of a fellow veteran at a Texas shooting range.
