Carmelita Jeter, a retired American sprinter, is widely recognized for her exceptional speed in the 60m, 100m, and 200m events. Known as the “Fastest woman alive,” Jeter set a personal record of 10.64 seconds in the 100m in 2009. She claimed the 100m world championship title in 2011 and won an Olympic silver medal in 2012. Jeter also obtained several bronze medals in different championships and currently holds the fourth position as the fastest woman in the 100m. In 2023, she transitioned to coaching and assumed a leadership role at UNLV.
