Clive Staples Lewis, a British writer and literary scholar, was well-recognized for his contributions to English literature and Christian apologetics. He held academic positions at both Magdalen College, Oxford, and Magdalene College, Cambridge. Lewis is most famous for creating The Chronicles of Narnia series, as well as other works of fiction such as The Screwtape Letters and The Space Trilogy. His close friendship with J.R.R. Tolkien and his involvement in the Inklings literary group greatly influenced his writing.
