Bruce Murray is an American former professional soccer player known for his impressive career achievements. He was the all-time leading scorer for the United States men’s national soccer team at the time of his retirement. Murray played professionally in Europe and the United States, including the American Soccer League and American Professional Soccer League. His career was cut short due to concussion syndrome in 1995. Murray earned numerous caps and goals for the national team, including a goal at the 1990 FIFA World Cup. He is currently the Director of Coaching at Accelerator School DC Metro and is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
