Bon Scott served as the second lead vocalist and lyricist for the hard rock band AC/DC from 1974 until his passing in 1980. He replaced the original lead singer when he joined the band in 1974. During his time with AC/DC, Scott contributed to their first seven albums, helping them gain popularity both in Australia and globally. His tenure with the band reached its peak with the successful “Highway to Hell” album. Following his unfortunate death in 1980, AC/DC enlisted Brian Johnson and released the iconic “Back in Black” album as a tribute to Scott.
