Rebecca Lynn Hammon is a Russian-American professional basketball coach and former player. She currently serves as the head coach of the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA. Hammon has also been an assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA. She is a three-time All-American basketball player who has played for various teams in the WNBA and internationally. Hammon holds the distinction of being the first woman to coach in the NBA Summer League and the first Russian head coach in WNBA history. In 2023, she was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
