Austra Skujytė, a retired Lithuanian athlete, excelled in heptathlon and decathlon events. She set the women’s decathlon world record in 2005 and earned Olympic silver in 2004 and bronze in 2012. Skujytė achieved a personal best in heptathlon at the 2012 Olympics and established a World Heptathlon Best in Shot Put. She is an eight-time national champion in Shot Put and has triumphed in numerous other national championships. Skujytė graduated with a degree in kinesiology from Kansas State University, where she claimed multiple NCAA championships.
