She captured iconic images of the band’s original members during their formative years in Hamburg. In 1960, she met artist Stuart Sutcliffe and was engaged to him until his passing in 1962. Kirchherr’s early work has been showcased in numerous cities globally, including prestigious venues like the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame. She has also released three limited-edition books featuring her photographs.
