Ashley Force Hood is a retired NHRA Funny Car drag racer who competed for John Force Racing. In 2007, she was honored as the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series’ Rookie of the Year. Force Hood made history in 2008 by becoming the first woman to win in TF/FC, defeating her father in the final round for her first NHRA Professional-category victory. Following a hiatus in 2011 for the birth of her first child, she announced her retirement from competitive racing.
