Mardin later transitioned to EMI, where he assumed the roles of vice president and general manager of Manhattan Records. His collaborative efforts with a diverse array of artists such as The Rascals, Queen, Bee Gees, Aretha Franklin, and Norah Jones resulted in an impressive tally of eleven Grammy Awards and eighteen nominations.
