Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira, known by his nicknames Minotauro or Big Nog, is a retired Brazilian mixed martial artist. He competed in the heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was a former Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion. Nogueira found success in Japanese promotions like Fighting Network RINGS and Pride Fighting Championships, becoming the first Pride Heavyweight Champion. He was also a finalist in the 2004 PRIDE FC Heavyweight Grand Prix and held championship titles in both Pride FC and the UFC.
