Alexander Fyodorovich Kerensky was a Russian lawyer and revolutionary who led the Russian Provisional Government and the short-lived Russian Republic for three months in 1917. Holding key positions such as Minister of Justice, Minister of War, and Minister-Chairman, he played a significant role in the provisional government. Kerensky was associated with the Trudovik faction of the Socialist Revolutionary Party and served as a vice-chairman of the Petrograd Soviet. Despite opposition, he maintained Russia’s involvement in World War I. Following the October Revolution, Kerensky left Russia and lived in exile, eventually working at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.
