Jose Alexander Cora is a former MLB infielder who now manages the Boston Red Sox. He played for multiple teams over 14 seasons before transitioning to coaching. Cora was the bench coach for the Houston Astros during their 2017 World Series win. In 2018, he led the Red Sox to a championship in his debut season as manager, becoming the first Puerto Rican to do so. Despite a suspension related to a sign-stealing scandal, Cora resumed his managerial role with the Red Sox.
