Alan Charles Rusbridger is a well-known British journalist who was the editor-in-chief of The Guardian from 1995 to 2015. He played a key role in overseeing the publication’s digital transformation during his tenure. After leaving The Guardian, Rusbridger became the principal of Lady Margaret Hall at the University of Oxford until 2021. He was appointed chair of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism in 2016 and joined Facebook’s Oversight Board in 2020. Currently, Rusbridger serves as the editor of Prospect magazine.
