Al-Sadek Hamed Al-Shuwehdy, a Libyan aeronautical engineer who had recently returned from studying in the United States, defiantly opposed Gaddafi’s regime by participating in protests with friends. Despite being apprehended by Libyan authorities at his residence, he persisted in resisting the oppressive government. Throughout his professional career, he remained committed to his engineering duties while actively engaging in activism against the Gaddafi regime.
