Al Jackson, Jr. was a celebrated American drummer, producer, and songwriter, renowned for his founding role in Booker T. & the M.G.’s. His significant contributions to the music industry were recognized with inductions into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame in 2015 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.
