Bowe has received prestigious awards such as the NASA Equal Employment Opportunity Medal, US Women’s Chamber of Commerce Emerging Star Award, and Virginia Business magazine’s Black Business Leaders Award. She is set to travel to space on a commercial vehicle with Blue Origin, the private spaceflight company founded by Jeff Bezos.
