Cayetano Ordóñez y Aguilera, also known as Niño de la Palma, started his bullfighting career in 1917 and quickly rose to fame for his exceptional skills and bravery in the bullring. He achieved significant success in Ronda and Seville, becoming a renowned bullfighter in Spain. His talent even caught the eye of Ernest Hemingway, who used him as inspiration for a character in one of his novels. Cayetano retired from bullfighting in 1942 but stayed involved in the sport by directing the Lisbon School of Bullfighting until his passing in 1961.
