Patrick Ewing had a prosperous professional basketball career as a center in the NBA, mainly with the New York Knicks. He played a pivotal role in the Knicks’ achievements in the 1990s, receiving numerous honors including eleven All-Star selections and seven All-NBA team appearances. Ewing also clinched Olympic gold medals as a member of the U.S. men’s basketball teams in 1984 and 1992. His accomplishments resulted in his induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame and the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame.
