Yumilka Ruíz is a retired Cuban volleyball player who achieved significant success throughout her career. She represented Cuba in four consecutive Summer Olympics, winning gold in 1996 and 2000, and a bronze in 2004. Known for her role as an outside hitter, she played a vital part in the dominance of the Cuban team in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In recognition of her contributions to the sport, Ruíz was inducted into the International Volleyball Hall of Fame in 2023.
