Renan Dal Zotto is a Brazilian former volleyball player who competed in three Summer Olympics, earning a fifth-place finish in 1980, a silver medal in 1984, and a fourth-place finish in 1988. In 2015, he was inducted into the International Volleyball Hall of Fame. Transitioning into coaching, Renan worked with various clubs in Brazil and Italy during the 1990s and 2000s. In 2017, he became the head coach of the Brazil men’s team, succeeding Bernardo Rezende. Renan faced disciplinary action from the FIVB for unsportsmanlike conduct during a match in 2018.
