Lothar von Richthofen was an accomplished German fighter ace in World War I, with 40 victories to his name. After the war, he shifted to farming and later moved into the industrial sector. Eventually, he resumed his aviation career as a pilot, operating flights for passengers and mail between Berlin and Hamburg. Sadly, he passed away at the age of 27 in a flying accident at Fuhlsbüttel.
