He is currently a coanchor on Good Morning America and host of This Week, ABC’s Sunday morning news program. Stephanopoulos gained recognition as the communications director for Bill Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign and later served as White House communications director. He also held the position of senior advisor for policy and strategy before leaving in December 1996.
