Yang Young-Ja, a retired table tennis player from South Korea, had a successful career in the sport. She won gold medals in women’s doubles at the 1987 ITTF World Championships and the 1988 Summer Olympics. She was also a two-time women’s singles world champion runner-up. After retiring, she transitioned into coaching and now works as a table tennis coach in Seoul, overseeing the junior team of South Korea.
