Kosuke Hagino is a highly accomplished former competitive swimmer from Japan, known for his expertise in the individual medley and 200m freestyle events. He has earned four Olympic medals, including a gold in the 400m individual medley at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Hagino holds multiple Asian records in individual medley events, both in long course and short course swimming. He is a student at Toyo University and is coached by Norimasa Hirai. Hagino’s exceptional talent has earned him recognition as one of the only two Asians to be voted World Swimmer of the Year.
